Chat widget settings
Use the workspace chat widget to talk to website visitors. Widget installation, department routing, visitor tracking and automation are configured separately from individual conversations.
What to do on this page
Configure a site, widget appearance and automatic greeting rules. Copy its embed code to your website. Pass approved visitor identity parameters when your own application knows the signed-in user.
Before you leave
- Save any changes and wait for the success message. Correct errors shown in a notification before trying again.
- If an option is missing, check the selected workspace, your permissions and its package with the workspace administrator.
